Spicy Roasted Red Pepper and Feta Dip

This dip is bursting with flavor and is perfect for any occasion. Not only is it full of flavor, but it also has some nutritional benefits. This dip is made with a combination of red bell peppers, feta cheese, Greek yogurt, garlic, Terra Delyssa® Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil Infused with Chili, and lemon juice. The result is a creamy dip that is packed with flavor and perfect for any gathering. So let's get started and make this tasty dip!

Ingredients:

2 red bell peppers, or one jar of store bought roasted red peppers

150 g of Greek feta cheese

¼ cup of Greek yogurt

2 garlic cloves

3 Tablespoon of Terra Delyssa® Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil Infused with Chili

½  lemon, juiced

Pita bread, to serve

Fresh herbs to garnish

 

 Directions:

 

  1. Preheat the oven to BROIL. Grill the peppers until the skin is blackened. About 15-20 minutes turning them every 5 minutes. Remove from the oven and wrap in aluminum foil. Leave to rest for a few minutes and remove the skin and the seeds from the peppers to keep only the flesh. Alternatively, you can also use store-bought roasted peppers.
  2. In a food processor, mix the red pepper flesh, the feta cheese, the Greek yogurt, the garlic, the lemon juice and the Terra Delyssa® Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil Infused with Chili
  3. Serve the dip and garnish with more Terra Delyssa® Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil Infused with Chili, crumbled feta and a few basil leaves or other fresh herb. Serve with pita bread.
